ASIA DESIGN PAVILION 17-22 april
For the first time in Milan Design Week a great coordinated project dedicated to Asian design
Asia Design Pavillion is V.I.P. of next design week, where the acronym is for “very important project”: less emphasis on famous names but only important projects.
An exhibition and communication platform designed to enhance and present the multiform Asian creative scene in a unified way and to strengthen the dialogue between East and West. It ranges from the Middle to the Far East to return in real time a photograph of some areas that have changed rapidly in the last decade, triggering spirals of radical transformations still in progress: China, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Iran and Qatar are the countries that will be represented by designers, studios and design organizations who have chosen Fuorisalone to present themselves on a global stage.
Not just industrial or product design but also contemporary art, architecture, fashion and food.

Milano si prepara ad accogliere ASIA DESIGN PAVILION, in programma dal 17 al 22 Aprile 2018, una manifestazione che coinvolgerà ospiti, aziende e professionisti provenienti da tutto il mondo. DESIGN, ARTE CONTEMPORANEA, FOOD e cooperazione tra oriente e occidente, saranno i concept che animeranno questa emozionante esperienza nella splendida cornice Milanese.
Grazie alla collaborazione già attiva da diversi anni con Sarpi Bridge Oriental Design Week, farò parte del progetto ASIA produce-MI
Per noi organizzatori di Asia Design Pavilion è importante creare opportunità per designer alla ricerca di aziende che considerino e producano i loro lavori.
A tale scopo ASIA DESIGN PAVILION prevederà un’area, ASIA produce-MI, dove i designer, occidentali ed orientali, potranno mettere in mostra gratuitamente i prototipi dei loro progetti.
La selezione curata da ASIA DESIGN PAVILION ha portato alla scelta di 17 Designer che vi presenteremo nelle prossime settimane.
A fine evento sarà cura di ASIA DESIGN PAVILION creare un catalogo dei prototipi di ASIA produce-MI da promuovere presso aziende asiatiche.
